watching the news and other ramblings...

Sometimes I think that watching the news is such a downer. Actually I find it depressing...deaths, affairs, etc. But I turned it on this morning while drinking my coffee and found some surprises. Of course the Saints pulled out the Super Bowl...but Costa Rica just elected their first woman President. How cool! And what interesting news...wish there was more news like this in the morning!

Seth gets home Thursday. It has been a LLLOOONNGGG 11 days full of house showings, stitches, sick children, etc. I need a nap in a major way. But I am looking forward to my birthday weekend...5K race, parents in town, church and my party on Monday night. Then Seth and I are going to church for Ash Wednesday and out to dinner...by ourselves. 33 isn't going to be too bad!

I also have booked our "Jude" trip for Spring Break! We are taking him solo to the coast for a few days complete with a visit to the Children's Museum, a charter boat trip, fun hotel and toy shopping in Ocean Springs. Then his party and the St. Paddy's day parade his birthday weekend...good times!

Bob Coleman 10K

Anna and I were up early this morning headed out to Clinton to run the Bob Coleman 10K (benefit race for CARA). We had a blast...talked the entire time we ran...laughed...and finished in 1:12. We were so proud!

The house is being shown all morning. Bob and Jeanine have Jude out running errands. Hazel and I are enjoying a lazy afternoon. I might even take a nap myself. :)

Seth gets back Thursday. He is doing great in CO. I am so proud of him. I have a busy week next week with church and Jude's school and art.

Hope you all are having an awesome weekend!

Happy Birthday, Seth!

Happy Birthday goes out to the love of my life! He is 31 today. Unfortunately, he is in CO for work all by himself. In efforts to make his birthday special, I am asking everybody I know to send him a birthday email to...

Thanks in advance!

just us ladies...

Hazel, Bella (the dog) and myself have remained in Jackson while the boys are in OK. So far...so good. She is a really good baby...sleeps well...happy (for the most part). We are keeping busy getting the house ready to go on the market...washing clothes, cleaning, organizing.

I wanted to post a few new pics of the kiddos. They are growing up too fast! Hazel is almost 11 weeks old. And Jude will be 3 in March! I can't believe it!

Seth and I are busy getting ready for our marathon in April. He is traveling alot for work. He will be in CO the next 2 weeks. I am working on lots of commission work! Life is good...
